About

Hello, everyone! First of all, thank you for taking the time out of your day to view my blog space! So, who am I and what the heck is this place all about? What are you going to be reading about? Well, my name is Alan and I’m into my second year of a masters in osteopathic medicine attending the university of Swansea, UK. I am personally interested in anatomy, pathophysiology; how/why they present within a clinical setting. I am very intrigued with the workings of differential diagnosis and how to use that to justify a treatment rationale. Also, throwing in some biopsychosocial factors is always fun, right?! Keep in mind that this is my first shot at this whole blogging world, so bear with me until ISwansea_University find my feet!

Okay, so moving on. What will you find in this pocket of the internet? My aim for this little project is to display some alternative osteopathic thinking injected into the world of manual therapy medicine, of my own opinions and that of YOURS! Hopefully you will find something you’ve not found out before, or maybe you’re just dusting off some areas which you’ve not gone over in a while. Either way it’s all about helping one another out, whether you’re an osteopath, chiropractor, physiotherapist, or thinking of getting involved in this mad; yet exciting world!

Now, one thing I am really looking to push forward and encourage is interaction between me and you. This is not a place where it’s just about my perspective, I want yours too! So if you have an idea or any material that you would like to be published and credited with on here then please, don’t be afraid to send me a message and we will sort something out! The more views on ANY topic within the manual therapy world the better! Hopefully we can get some interesting debates going!

If you are still reading this, thank you!! I hope that I will be hearing from you soon and enjoy the content that is available here!

Thanks!

Alan.
